Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
Add the veggie mince, egg, breadcrumbs and ground almonds to a bowl.
Finely chop the dried tomatoes, garlic, basil and add to the bowl.
Season with salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly and form golf ball-sized balls.
Heat the olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and fry the balls for approx. 3-4 minutes until golden brown all around.
Deglaze with red wine and cook until reduced completely.
Add the tomatoes, oregano, salt, pepper and let simmer for approx. 5 min.
Serve the pasta with tomato sauce, meatballs and top with the basil.
