Cut the hokkaido into ½ in cubes. Cut the beef into short thin stripes. Coarsely chop the carrot.Peel the onion and chop finely.
Heat the oil in a coated pan and fry briefly the beef on each side. Salt and pepper. Take out of the pan and put aside.
